Welcome to the UNCC Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club!

We welcome all new comers to our unique methods and philosophies. UNC Charlotte BJJ has been in existence for five years, founded by people with a great love and appreciation for the art. These people are also men with strong morals and values, and that is the foundation and soul of this team.

Who we are:

This team is proud of those who commit their time to the pursuit of excellence and perfection. There are neither politics nor bs involved. Everyone who trains here are the utmost humble and respectful people you will find. Fun, friendship, and refinement are our core concepts.

Who we are not:

We are not egotistical, self-centered children. We do not train with the intent to prove something to our peers, and most importantly, we do not tolerate an over abundance of ignorant, testosterone fueled personalities. There is no initiation; you pay your dues on the mat, and that is where it stays.

What we teach:

We practice both Gi and NO-GI training. We believe in training hard, but we also promote atmosphere in which students can excel at the art of Jiu Jitsu, and stay injury free!
